Exhibition football involves players from different nations participating in friendly matches. Each team is made up of eleven players, but depending on the event, the number of players may increase. In such cases, substitutes are allowed. Each team is permitted to change their starting five players up to three times during an exhibition match.

The Game of football can be played using either a ball or a rugby ball. The object of the game is for the team to gain points by taking turns kicking the ball around the goal. Each person on the team wears a uniform, except for the goalkeeper who is required to wear protective gear.

Tactics The object of football is for the team to win by scoring more points than the other team. The goal cannot be converted into a point until a “goal kick” is scored. A goal kick is performed by either a forward or a defense player. Forward football is generally played with two wings, while defense oriented football is usually played with four wings.

History The game of football has been played commercially in different countries since the 14th century. It was first widely played in England, and even in America during the colonial period. The game caught on in France and America, and it gained popularity in Europe after World War II. International football tournaments are regularly organized, and the World Cup tournaments are considered to be the most attended sporting event. In America, the modern game of football was introduced when the Americans started playing the game in the late nineteenth century. Currently, American football is one of the most popular sports in the country.
