Taylor Swift, born in West Reading, Pennsylvania, is a singer-songwriter who has sold more than 75 million albums worldwide. She has also earned numerous awards and nominations. She is known for her unique style of singing and her use of social media to promote her music.
She began writing songs at age nine and signed with Sony/ATV Music Publishing at the age of 14. In 2006, she released her debut album ‘Taylor Swift’. She has since released eight studio albums and has won many awards and nominations.
Her albums Fearless (2008) and Speak Now (2010) were both successful. The former’s singles “Love Story” and “You Belong with Me” were a hit on both country and pop radio.
