She’s the first artist to have a record-breaking album simultaneously debut at the top of the albums and singles charts. She’s made her mark on the world through her talent and her heart, as evidenced by her recent performance at the Los Angeles MTV VMAs. She’s also earned herself a place in the spotlight as an activist, calling President Trump out for his white supremacy and aiding tornado victims in Iowa and Louisiana. Besides her music, she’s also a writer. She’s contributed two songs to the soundtrack of The Hunger Games.
